Vanice Sikes

Van Sikes was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1982 after graduating cum laude from The University of Georgia Law School. He served in the United State Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps from 1982 to 1986 and was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi and Sembach Air Base in Germany. He worked in private practice in Savannah from 1986 to 1999 and in Marietta from 1999 to 2002. During these years, his practice focused on plaintiff’s personal injury cases. From 2002 to 2022, he worked as senior counsel in a staff counsel office of a large insurance company defending clients. He worked in Alpharetta until 2019 and moved to Perry where he continued to work for the staff counsel office. He retired in 2022 and joined Adams ADR as a full-time mediator in 2023.

Van has a wide range of experience in representing injured individuals and in defending injury claims. He brings a fair and balanced approach to mediations with a unique perspective and understanding of the parties’ positions in trying to resolve their disputes.

Rates

Administrative Fee:

  • $150.00 per party

Hourly Rates:

  • $175.00 per hour per party for two parties
  • $125.00 per hour per party for three parties
  • $100.00 per hour per party for four or more parties
