G. Grant Greenwood
Grant Greenwood is a partner at James Bates Law Firm, and has been practicing law since 2003. He is well-versed in the HIPAA/HITECH privacy, security and breach notification rules, GLBA, FERPA, and the 50 U.S. state consumer date protection notification laws. He has represented various corporate clients in a variety of business and commercial litigation matters in trial court proceedings involving employment and contract disputes, post judgment collection matters, appellate reviews, mediations, and arbitrations. He has represented employers from all industry sectors in investigations conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and has successfully defended employers in several administrative hearings and appeals conducted by the Georgia State Board of Worker’s Compensation. He also has experience handling complex contract negotiations and disputes, and has arbitrated cases before the American Arbitration Association. Bradford “Brad” Wilson, Jr. graduated from Georgia Southern College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Mr. Wilson was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1977 after he received his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He has more than four decades of legal experience with the firm of Adams, Hemingway & Wilson, formerly Adams, Hemingway & Hemingway.
His primary areas of practice include personal injury, probate, real estate, school law and general civil litigation.
He has represented teachers, administrators, and superintendents who are member of the Professional Association of Georgia Educators for over thirty years, handling a variety of employment matters. He has also served as general counsel for the Bibb County Probate Court Administrator for many years and as general counsel for the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority for approximately twenty years.
Mr. Wilson is an expert at leading negotiations in a wide variety of cases and has maintained an AV rating from Martindale- Hubbell.
