Joseph A. Boone

Joseph A. Boone graduated from the University of Georgia and obtained his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. In 1973, he joined the law firm of Boone & Scott in Irwinton, Georgia. His firm has been in continuous operation for 92 years since 1930, and Mr. Boone has been recognized as an “AV” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell for more than 40 years. Mr. Boone is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.

As a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Boone served on the State Bar Board of Governors for 15 years, including three (3) years as a member of the State Bar Investigative Panel. He was also appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court as a special master to conduct disciplinary matters involving attorneys. He was also appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to serve as an arbitrator on the State Bar Fee Arbitration Board. He is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the 11th Circuit U. S. Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Boone has many years of experience in real estate issues, including Quiet Title Actions, Partition Actions, boundary disputes, eminent domain, mineral rights and property tax appeals. He has also been appointed by the superior courts to serve as a special master in Quiet Title Actions. Additionally, he is one of few attorneys in Georgia with extensive experience in mineral law and the valuation of mineral rights. Mr. Boone has extensive experience in local government law, having served as county attorney and city attorney for several local governments for more than 30 years. His other areas of expertise include Wills, Probate, Guardianship and Conservatorship proceedings.

Mr. Boone has also been involved in his community. He was a founder and charter director of the Wilkinson County Chamber of Commerce and was the founder and charter director of a local humane society, Paws & Claws Humane Services, Inc.

Hourly Rates:

  • $150.00 per hour per party for two parties
  • $125.00 per hour per party for three or more parties

Bradford “Brad” Wilson, Jr. graduated from Georgia Southern College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Mr. Wilson was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1977 after he received his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He has more than four decades of legal experience with the firm of Adams, Hemingway & Wilson, formerly Adams, Hemingway & Hemingway.

His primary areas of practice include personal injury, probate, real estate, school law and general civil litigation.

He has represented teachers, administrators, and superintendents who are member of the Professional Association of Georgia Educators for over thirty years, handling a variety of employment matters.  He has also served as general counsel for the Bibb County Probate Court Administrator for many years and as general counsel for the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority for approximately twenty years.

Mr. Wilson is an expert at leading negotiations in a wide variety of cases and has maintained an AV rating from Martindale- Hubbell.
